I Highly Recommend this for a chill-out Mexican meal in Melbourne ! The food here is amazing. Had their grilled fajita burrito with hot sauce. Very good flavours and taste. The best was that they have many different levels of spiciness’ in salsa and all are great.!
High Tech Burrito have it happening. My favourite is the Cabo Supreme plus I get tacos (soft shell) and ask for it with no cheese and hot sauce on top of the Pico sauce, it's to die for. Also the pork is really good, as is the beef...the vegetarian I've never tried - I love the meet too much.
Had a Cabo supreme for lunch and it freaking ROCKED!
Mexican NOT Aussie styled! Finally a place in Australia that doesn't try to pass off the super crispy Old El Paso taco shell as the real thing. Beautiful fresh salsas and meats that aren't pastes - awesome stuff. (Jan 2011)
It's fast food Jim, but not as we know it. In Melbourne fast food wrapped in bread or a roll normally means a gyros, a hamburger or maybe a falafel roll. Burritos aren't that common. High Tech Burrito Australia advertises itself as 'Born in Mexico, Raised in California, Now in Hawthorn', but if it continues to pump out quick, tasty, healthy meals it may have to add 'Eaten around Melbourne'. I woke up today, a sunny Melbourne Saturday, with a craving for coriander, of all things! High Tech Burrito is not high tech. It is the freshest, tastiest, BESEST Mexican I have ever had -hands down. The hardest part is deciding what amazing combination of beans, sauces and fresh salad to choose! It was super quick, affordable, friendly and not over-seasoned or salty. Be sure to get the tortilla chips -corn chips....eat your heart out! I can't wait to go back to try the different burritos. It is cheap, friendly, organised and SO FILLING! I would highly recommend trying it!
I would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a delicious, hearty meal. Their ability to combine unusual flavours with the traditional Mexican burrito was brilliant, and I loved the healthy option menu with itemised nutritional labelling. The staff were friendly, the service fast and the meals extremely good value for money.
I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants freshly prepared and delicious burritos, tacos, or quesadillas. The prices are very reasonable considering that the burritos are huge and extremely filling. They have a variety of salsas to suit your taste served with real tortilla chips that anyone in the US would be accustomed to. I will definitely be returning in the near future.

Fantastic! Finally real californian-style burritos in Melbourne. These are large, very fresh and extremely tasty. You won't find a better burrito or taco in Melbourne, or maybe even Australia. Well worth the trip to Hawthorn. I'll be back soon!
